A casualty remains in hospital with burns and fall injuries, after escaping a Crewe house blaze through a first floor window.
On Sunday 25 January, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident on Mellor Street, off Middlewich Street.
At 6.58am, two fire engines from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering flames coming from the living room of a property.
Crewe firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze, with the house occupant already escaped through the upstairs window.
The casualty, who suffered from fall injuries, smoke inhalation and burns was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The Crewe house fire is believed to have been caused by an electric heater.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a terraced property on Mellor Street.
"On arrival, crews found a fire involving the ground floor living room of one property.
"Crews used two sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, one covering jet and a smoke curtain to extinguish the fire.
"One casualty was able to evacuate the building via a first-floor window and was treated for burns, smoke inhalation and fall injuries before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
"The fire is believed to have been accidental, with an electric heater identified as the probable cause."
