Casualty 'freed' from car following THIRD COLLISION in month at Crewe junction
A casualty was freed from a car following another collision at an "accident hotspot" junction in Crewe, the third accident in less than a month.
Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on Badger Avenue, at its Junction with Frank Webb Avenue, on Sunday 14 January.
The accident, which happened around 10:52am, involved a silver Nissan Juke, a silver Kia Sportage and a black Vauxhall Antara.
Police called Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service to scene, with a person trapped in their vehicle.
No "serious injuries" were reported, with the scene taking around 100 minutes to clear.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At 10.52am on Sunday 14 January, police were called to a collision on Badger Avenue.
"Officers attended and found the incident involved three vehicles, including a silver Nissan Juke , a silver Kia Sportage and a black Vauxhall Antara.
"There were no reports of any serious injuries and the scene was cleared by 12.30pm."
Most recently, there was a collision on Wednesday 10 January, with another accident reported on Friday 22 December.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to a three-vehicle road traffic collision.
"The crew freed one casualty and made the vehicles safe."
