Electrical Maintenance Engineer/ Technician Manufacturing Cheshire - Salary £50,000 - £60,000 About the Company Our client is an established independent manufacturing business that is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team due to ongoing growth within their portfolio. The company are proudly family owned, has an excellent reputation for looking after its staff and offering great career development options. You ll be part of a small, close-knit team of Maintenance Engineers who will be responsible for several milling and processing sites across the Cheshire area. The successful candidate will have a great drive and passion for electrical fault finding and take pride in their maintenance work. The Engineering team are well established, and this role would be great for either an experienced engineer to seamlessly slot into the function or for a junior engineer who is looking for an employer who can provide mentorship and onsite learning. Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements
  • Completed apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (NVQ/C&G)
  • Experience working in an industrial/ manufacturing environment
  • Passion and drive for fault-finding maintenance
  • 17/18th Edition of Regulations qualification
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all electrical Maintenance, working through PPM and reactive/breakdown calls
  • Involved in CAPEX projects involving new equipment, upgrades to PLC and net-zero projects
  • Work on motors, pumps, conveyors, mills and other heavy process equipment
  • Knowledge of industrial control panels and PLCS

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the depot.What You'll Bring: Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled). Experience: Prior experience in the maintenance, refurbishment, or overhaul of rail vehicles is highly desirable. Technical Knowledge:o Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.o Familiarity with depot operations and rail industry standards.o Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
