Crewe Nub News has announced the winners of the Co-op Mother's Day competition - with two local residents winning a £15 Co-op gift voucher.

Crewe Nub News has announced the winners of the Co-op Mother's Day competition - with two local residents winning a £15 Co-op gift voucher.

Ruth Chester and Soujana Goskonda were the two winners of the competition.

All they had to do to win the prize was to describe their mum on the Mother's Day post pinned to the top of Crewe Nub News' Facebook page by Sunday 19 March.

Ruth's Facebook comment read: "I love you mum. (Margaret Thomson). You are the kindest, warmest, selfless, decent person I know.

"You have made great sacrifices to bring us up and you are loved and appreciate more than you know. Much love xxx."

Soujana's Facebook comment was equally as heart-warming, saying: "You are the sweetest kindest mummy. Here is a way to describe you:
