Thursday 11 June
People affected by MS (multiple sclerosis) are invited to learn about MS Help - a new initiative by the MS Society - as well as local support services at two free information events hosted by the South East Cheshire MS Society group.
South East Chesire MS Society Group will be joined on Thursday 11 June by voluntary and statutory organisations that provide support to enable people to live well with the condition.
The events will also launch MS Help, a new, simpler way to access MS Society services. Available to people living with MS, as well as their families, carers, and everyone who supports them. The new MS Help Hub is a single point of access meaning MS support services are easier to access than ever, all in one place.
The events, to be held on Thursday 11th of June at 2pm and 6.30pm at The Morningflake Stadium in Crewe, are part of a range of activities planned by the group to support local people with MS.
Louisia Beardshall, group volunteer and the event organiser , says: "People with MS need to access to the right information so they can make informed choices about their care. This information event is also a great way of meeting other people affected by MS from the local community as well as hearing about MS Help. The free event is open to anyone affected by MS so please do sign up."
Volunteers from the South East Cheshire MS Society group = will also be available to answer questions about the support they provide.
Attendance is free but places must be booked in advance via Eventbrite.
