Over the past year Crewe Town Council has been working with the Crewe community to design and make Crewe's first Art Trail through community consultation, workshops and events. The theme is Making Crewe, which pays tribute to the town's history of making, its prominent figures and also celebrates the communities who make Crewe what it is today!

A series of creative and practical workshops will take place throughout the weekend to showcase the new artworks, enable people to meet the artists and learn new skills.

Visitors to the event will be able to:

·        create colourful 'Peace Patterns'

·        craft clay tile designs to take home

·        embroider textiles

·        and discover how to design their own murals!

 The workshops and activities are FREE and open to all, no experience or existing skills required – everyone is encouraged to come along and have a go!

Crewe Town Council has been awarded UKSPF funding to deliver an Arts Development Project and Art Trail between January 2024 and March 2025. The trail will be displayed in accessible locations throughout the town for residents and visitors alike to enjoy.
