What is the Crewe Prize Draw?

The Crewe Prize Draw is a new community prize draw giving people the chance to win cash prizes every fortnight while helping raise money for charities and good causes across Crewe.

It's a simple way to support the town, with the chance to win along the way.

Why has Nub News launched the Crewe Prize Draw?

Nub News has always been part of everyday life in Crewe, keeping people informed through local news, sharing what's on, supporting local businesses and helping connect people with jobs and opportunities.

The Crewe Prize Draw is another way to bring the community together, giving local people the chance to win prizes while raising money for charities and community organisations.

It's about keeping money in Crewe, supporting local causes, and celebrating the town.

Which Crewe charities will receive money?

We will be supporting four Crewe charities.

The first two are The Wishing Well and Hopes and Beams. Each charity will be featured on Crewe Nub News so people can learn more about the incredible work they do and how the funds raised will help.

Two further charity partners will be announced soon.

Who runs the Crewe Prize Draw?

The Crewe Prize Draw is promoted by Nub News Limited and supports the Nub News Foundation, a registered charity, which will distribute funds raised to the chosen Crewe charities.

Is this a lottery?

No. The Crewe Prize Draw is currently a prize draw. We intend to apply for a lottery licence in the future as the initiative grows.

How much does it cost to enter?

Tickets cost £2.

For less than the price of a coffee, you could be in with a chance of winning cash while helping support local charities.

When are the draws held?

The Crewe Prize Draw takes place every other Thursday at 7.30pm.

The winning tickets will be published immediately after the draw.

How much can I win?

The minimum cash prize is £1,500. There will also be four additional £20 cash prizes.

As more tickets are sold, the prize fund can increase. This means bigger prizes and more support for local charities.

How does the money raised help Crewe?

A percentage of every ticket sold goes towards Crewe charities and good causes.

Unlike national draws where money is distributed across the country, the Crewe Prize Draw is designed to keep the benefit local, supporting organisations and projects in the town.

Why should I trust the Crewe Prize Draw?

The draw is designed to be transparent and community-focused. You can find full rules and regulations available HERE.

Prize draw rules, winners and important updates will be published so entrants can see exactly how it works.

Do I need to live in Crewe to enter?

The draw is designed to support the Crewe community and we encourage local people to take part. However, anyone in the UK aged 18 or over can enter.

How do I enter?

  1. Visit the Crewe Prize Draw website
  2. Choose how many tickets you want
  3. Complete your entry
  4. Wait for the draw

You will receive a unique ticket number for the draw.

How are winners chosen?

Every valid ticket receives an entry into the draw.

A winner is selected through the official draw process, ensuring every entrant has a fair chance.

Do I have to buy tickets every draw?

No. You can enter individual draws whenever you choose. There will also be an option to play regularly through a recurring payment option in the future.

What happens if I win?

Winners will be contacted using the details provided when entering. Payment will be made once winner details have been confirmed.

We will also celebrate winners and share their stories because we want people to see the positive impact the Crewe Prize Draw is having.

What happens if not enough tickets are sold?

The minimum guaranteed prize will always be £1,500. If more tickets are sold, the prize fund can increase.

Can businesses get involved?

The Crewe Prize Draw's main supporter is Swansway Motor Group (Photo: Supplied).

Yes. Our main supporter is Swansway Motor Group, who have helped make the Crewe Prize Draw possible.

Other local businesses can support by sharing the draw with their employees and customers. We will recognise supporters through our promotions and social channels.

Where can I see previous winners and how much has been raised?

Winner stories, charity updates and details of money raised will be published on the Crewe Prize Draw website.

You will also be able to see the impact the draw is having across Crewe.

Is there a free postal entry?

Yes. All prize draws include a free postal entry route to ensure everyone has a fair chance to participate. To use this method, you must first register for a free account so your entry can be processed correctly.
