HONOURS were shared when the top two in the CREWE REGIONAL SUNDAY LEAGUE Premier Division squared up.

The Lions and Betley FC played out an exciting 4-4 draw with The Lions leading 3-1 and 4-3 at various stages before Betley hit back to claim a point which keeps them at the top of the table.

Scorers for The Lions were Shannon Sinnott Jnr, Russ Schofield, Billy Rogerson and Tom Butler, while Jamie Baker, Lee Smith, Kieran Duckers and Danny Lavalette were on the scoresheet for Betley.

George & Dragon's 100 per cent record remained intact after a 6-3 win over Willaston White Star.

Joe Duckworth and Andy Houston netted braces for George & Dragon and Jordan Johnson and Terry Cain added to the tally. Lukasz Synowicz scored twice for Willaston White Star with Danny Williams adding the third goal.

Broadhurst FC and NHB FC drew 0-0 but it was an entertaining end to end game well refereed by Ashley Scoffin.

In Division One Cooper Buckley are still on course for the League title following a 10-0 win at Leighton FC.

Matt King hit four and Jason McMullen collected a brace while Luke Gillan, Brad Stockton, Taylor Vickers and Ashley Edwards made up the scoring.

Nick Gregory and Paul Bowker hit hat-tricks in Audlem's 9-1 win over Ruskin Park 9-1.

Local rivals White Horse and Nantwich Pirates met on the Barony with Nantwich Pirates running out 4-3 winners. Scorers for the Pirates were Mikey Truan (2), Ant Broadhurst and Joey Hylton.

Tom Royal continued his goalscoring form with two goals with Jake Harding also scoring for White Horse.

In the Division One Cup Sandbach Town progressed to the semi-finals with a 4-1 win over Princes Feathers.

Tom Cotton opened the scoring for Sandbach Town with a long-range strike before two goals from Jack Townsend and Henry Baker gave them a 3-0 lead. Bobby Brown got a goal back for the Feathers before Jack Townsend scored again to complete the scoring.

In the CREWE AND DISTRICT LEAGUE already-crowned champions Sandbach Curshaws were held to a 1-1 draw by FC Bollington, who required at least one point to secure the runners-up spot.

Sam Johnston struck for Sandbach Curshaws, but Bollington hit back to claim the point they needed.

A loss could have seen Sandbach Town Ramblers or Crewe Town leapfrog them as the two sides met.

Crewe Town took the three points from a 3-2 win to clinch a third-placed finish.

Sandbach Town Ramblers and Mary Dendy battled out for the right to face Curshaws in the AJ Cooke final.

Goals from Harley Heaton and Bjorn Hughes secured Dendy a 2-0 win and a final place.
