CREWE Regional Sunday League teams restarted after lockdown under a new format.

The main campaign has been null and voided after three teams said they did not want to complete the season, which was paused last December. In its place Premier Division sides left will play home and away with the top two receiving an award, while there are two groups for Division One teams and the top two in each will compete for a place in an end-of-season final.

In the Premier set-up Ben Brown scored a hat-trick as George and Dragon cruised to a 4-1 victory over Betley. Terry Cain netted the other goal.

The Raven triumphed 3-2 at Faddiley with goals from Josh Heath, Gary Pownall and new signing Tom Edge. Rich Ford and Rich Ryan replied for the hosts.
