NEWCOMERS AFC Crewe secured their first point in the CREWE AND DISTRICT LEAGUE when sharing eight goals (4-4) against Mary Dendy.

Champions Sandbach Curshaws dropped their first points when they were held to a 2-2 draw by local rivals Sandbach Town Ramblers.

Scoring for Sandbach Curshaws were Darren Bailey and Lee Mellor while Tim Lamb and Chris Proudlove replied for the Ramblers

Crewe District FA Cup

Again there were four teams across three games representing the Crewe and District league.

In an all Crewe and District clash Crewe Town won 4-0 at Mary Dendy. Sandbach Town faced tough opposition at Alsager Town Reserves and were on the end of a 12-1 caning.

Crewe Town also faced opposition from a higher level away with Cheshire League side Winnington booking their place in the next round with a 7-0 victory.
