Crewe Alex: veteran striker Porter commits to another season at Gresty Road
VETERAN striker Chris Porter has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal at Crewe.
The 37-year-old was among the players offered new terms at the end of last season and has moved quickly to commit his future to Gresty Road.
The well-travelled frontman arrived at the Alex in the summer of 2017 and is two short of scoring half a century of goals for the club in nearly 150 appearances.
He signed a one-year deal last summer and the club says his new contract will also offer Porter the chance to acquire some hands on coaching experience in the club's academy.
