A fast food chain has started work to open in Crewe town centre, after signing a 10-year lease for the former PIP Consultation Centre.

Flame & Ice will be opening at 26 Market Street, a unit vacant for over five years.

Founded in 2022, Flame & Ice currently operates in 11 locations, including Birmingham, Coventry and Hyde.

On its website, the eatery has confirmed new Crewe and Gloucester branches are "coming soon."

Serving burgers, milkshakes, smoothies and desserts, Flame & Ice joins ISO Sushi and Dixy Chicken in investing in Crewe town centre in 2026.

Set to open from 11am to 11pm, the new Flame & Ice takeaway will include a new seating area, serving area, counter and kitchen.

Crewe Nub News will keep local residents updated on the opening of Flame & Ice.

In the space o,f 50 yards along Market Street you have Betsy's, Starbucks, ISO Sushi Dixy Chicken, an Independent Cafe, and now Flame and Ice, surely this isn't sustainable, all fighting for the same piece of pie ( excuse the pun ), what are the planning department at the council thinking of, they need to get out of the office and actually see what they are passing off!

Yet another junk food outlet no wonder life expectancy is beginning to fall. Probably won’t last 12 months and back to being vacant again

Very little in the center to draw folk in long enough to eat,be it day and especially night.
Needs old M&S to open up as a large store and Wilko to draw people in.
