Cheshire Police is investigating after a woman was reportedly sexually assaulted and spat at whilst on her morning walk to work in Crewe - a commute she had done for two years.

On Tuesday 13 January, officers were alerted to a serious incident on Weston Road.

At around 5.10am, the victim reported she was approached by two unknown men on bicycles, with one of them hitting her on the bottom (leaving bruises) and the other male spitting at her.

The victim, who told Nub News she was "so scared" of what was going to happen and sat down on the floor, reported one man was on a small white bike, with the other on a dark blue/black bike.
