Woman checked over by paramedics after car crashes off road by popular farm shop
A local woman has been checked over by paramedics after her vehicle crashed off road - close to a popular South Cheshire farm shop and Café.
The incident happened at 11:51am yesterday (September 19), off the Newcastle Road turning of Cheerbrook roundabout, Willaston.
Cheshire Constabulary and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene - supporting the woman who had crashed their vehicle.
Nantwich firefighters helped the woman get out of the Mitsubishi Colt - handing her into the care of North West Ambulance Service paramedics.
The woman suffered no injuries from the incident - requiring no hospital treatment.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Firefighters attended a road traffic collision involving one vehicle which had left the road in Newcastle Road, Nantwich.
"Firefighters helped the casualty out of the car and they were handed into the care of paramedics."
Today (September 20), Cheshire Constabulary confirmed the incident to Nub News.
A spokesperson said: "At 11.50am on Monday (September 19), police were called to reports of a collision at the Cheerbrook Roundabout, Willaston.
"Officers attended the scene and found the collision involved one car - a blue Mitsubishi Colt.
"The driver of the Colt was checked at the scene by paramedics but she did not require hospital treatment."
