Woman accused of wounding and knife threat after man seriously hurt in Crewe

A WOMAN has been charged in connection with an incident at a property in Walthall Street in which a man was left with serious injuries.

Danielle Scragg, 27, of Severn Way in Holmes Chapel has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent and threatening a person with a knife.

Police said a 44-year-old man was taken to Leighton Hospital after the incident on Monday afternoon.

He is still in hospital, but reported to be in a "good" condition.

Scragg has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court (above) today (July 28).
