Woman, 44, charged with assault of two teenagers at Crewe park

A woman has been charged with the assault of two teenagers and criminal damage of a phone, following an incident at a Crewe park.

On Monday 3 February, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident at Valley Brook Park, off Alton Street.

Around 3.45pm, officers arrived at the scene, with allegations a woman had assaulted two teenagers, aged 14, and damaged one of their phones.

The Crewe woman was arrested for the listed offences and taken into police custody for questioning.

A 44-year-old Crewe woman has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Monday 17 March (Cheshire Police).

She has since been charged and bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Monday 17 March.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "A 44-year-old woman has been charged following an assault on two teenagers in a Crewe Park.

"At 3.45pm on Monday 3 February police were called to Valley Brook Park following reports of two children aged 14 being assaulted. One also had their phone damaged.

"A woman was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with two counts of assault, and criminal damage.

"She was bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates on 17 March."
