Witness appeal after 29-year-old man sustains 'serious' head injuries in Crewe

A 29-year-old man was brought into Crewe's Hungerford Medical Centre with serious head injuries on Friday - July 29 (Cheshire Constabulary).

Cheshire Police officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious incident in Crewe - taking place in the town last month.

At approximately 12:06pm on Friday (July 29), a man was brought into Crewe's Hungerford Medical Centre, School Crescent - with a serious head injury.

The man was subsequently taken to Leighton hospital for further checks and is now recovering.

The 29-year-old was taken to Leighton Hospital for checks. He is now recovering (Ryan Parker).

The 29-year-old man has no recollection as to how these injuries were sustained. Police are now appealing for information from the public.

DC Kate Palin said: "This was a frightening incident that left the man extremely shaken up and requiring hospital treatment.

"Thankfully, he is now recovering from his injuries, and I would like to reassure the community that we are committed to doing all that we can to establish exactly what has taken place.

"Enquiries are ongoing, and I urge anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened, or anything else that may be relevant to our investigation, to come forward.

"If you think that you witnessed, or have CCTV or dashcam footage of, anything that may be relevant to the investigation please get in touch."

Cheshire Constabulary say this was a frightening incident that left the man extremely shaken up and requiring hospital treatment (Cheshire Constabulary).
