Wistaston Community News and Event's highly anticipated annual Fireworks Display will take place on Saturday 2 November 2024. 

The event will take place at the Eric Swan Sports Ground/Brittles Pavilion (off Church Lane, behind Wistaston Church Lane Academy, will everyone welcome to attend.

Entry is by cash donation with the gates opening at 5:30pm.

Judging of Wistaston's fancy dress and pumpkin carving competitions will take place 6pm, with the fireworks scheduled to ignite the sky from 6:30pm (Jonathan White).

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure the best viewing spots and enjoy the community atmosphere before the show begins. 

Food and drink will be available to purchase, ensuring visitors can stay warm with refreshments as they await the grand display.

Helen Gould, of Wistaston Community News and Events, told Nub News: "Wistaston Community News and Events are looking forward to hosting another exciting professional display in the village provided by Black Lab Fireworks. 

"Remember to bring cash for the bucket collection and to buy food & drinks. Please remember, safety first, bring a torch and don't light sparklers in the crowded viewing area.

"Parking is limited so best to walk if you can."

The Wistaston Community News and Events team always welcomes new members to help organise their five annual Wistaston village events including next year's fireworks event.
