Wigan man charged with drink driving after Honda pulled over in Crewe

A man from Wigan has been charged with driving over the prescribed alcohol limit, after a Honda was pulled over on a main road in Crewe.

On Saturday 28 October, Cheshire Police noticed a vehicle being driven erratically on Dunwoody Way.

In the early hours, response officers performed a traffic stop, asking the driver to take a roadside breath test.

Richard Hengari, 32, from Wigan, will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 16 November (Nub News).

After providing a reading of 73, over double the legal limit, Richard Hengari, 32, from Wigan, was arrested for drink driving.

The Greater Manchester man has since been charged with the offence. He will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 16 November.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "In the early hours on Saturday 28 October, response officers performed a traffic stop on a Honda on Dunwoody Way.

"A male driver failed a roadside breath test and was arrested. 

Richard Hengari, 32, from Wigan, provided a roadside breath test reading of 73, over double the legal limit (Cheshire Police).

"After providing a reading of 73, Richard Hengari, 32, from Wigan, has been charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit.

"He will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 16 November.
