OBITUARIES have always been a big part of local newspapers and here at Crewe Nub News we believe they are an important part of community life.

That is why we have partnered with Crewe's independent family-owned Crewe Funeral Services to offer this new service to their clients.

Our obituaries section is regularly updated and all entries are published free of charge on Crewe Nub News.

It is a place for family and friends to share memories and tributes to their loved ones as well as details of funeral arrangements.

There is also the option to include a link to a charity or crowdfunding page if donations are being requested.

We are delighted to be providing this service with Crewe Funeral Services who as an independent funeral business really do offer a personal touch to their customers.

Owner Steven Linde is fiercely committed to providing a fair deal on price which is why his business has signed the pledge at the National Fair Price Funerals' campaign. All costs are clearly detailed on his website.

Crewe Funeral Services - based at Crewe Road in Shavington - has been providing caring funeral arrangements since Steven set up the business in 2006.
