With so much going on, it can be a challenge to remember when to put your bins out over the festive period.

To make your life easier, we have put together this handy guide to remind you what bin needs putting out and when.

Cheshire East residents are reminded that changes to their collection dates can also be found on the council website here.

General waste (black bin)

Black bins due for collection on Christmas Day, Thursday 25 December, will instead be collected on Tuesday 23 December.

Meanwhile, black bins due for collection on Boxing Day, Friday 26 December, will now be collected on Monday 29 December.

Looking to the new year, black bins due to be collected on New Year's Day, Thursday 1 January, will not be collected until Monday 5 January.

Recycling (silver bin)

Silver bins due for collection on Christmas Day, Thursday 25 December, will now be collected on Monday 22 December.

Those whose collection date falls on Boxing Day, Friday 26 December, will instead need to put their silver bin out on Tuesday 30 December.
