Here's some of the best events going on in Crewe this weekend.

Without further ado, here's what you can get up to in Crewe over the next couple days...

The Gills come to The Mornflake

It is 12th vs 18th in League Two, as Crewe Alexandra take on Gillingham.

Six points and six places separate the two sides, with Crewe having league position and home field advantage.

Of the known absences, a notable one is Courtney Baker-Richardson. the 26-year-old forward injured himself in a freak accident playing on a videogame console.

The Alex hope to push further into the top half with victory, with kick-off starting at 3pm on Saturday at the Mornflake Stadium. Get your tickets here.

Tribute Acts

It is a tribute act double-whammy at the weekend, as The Crozzy (Crosville Social Club on Chester Road) will host two rock music tributes.

The first is a solo tribute to Brandon Flowers and his band The Killers, aptly called Mr Brightside.

The second sees a local tribute act Whatever Oasis take the stage, which will make a rousing sing-a-long this Friday night, to see you into the weekend.

Tickets are £10 if you buy now, but will be a little more on the door.

The 90's Experience

The 90's Experience is live at Crewe Market Hall this Friday (October 7).

Crewe Market Hall will be rolling back the years this weekend.

Relive the glory days of the 90's at The 90's Experience.

An incredible night of live vocals taking you back through the 90's. Dance and sing the night away!

Featuring hits from The Spice Girls, The Vengaboys, Culture Beat, All Saints, B*Witched, Aqua, M People, Britney and many more.

You're guaranteed to be dancing in the aisles with these 90's classics.

This free event kicks off at 8pm, but why not turn up early and get some food and drink before?

Crewe Market Hall is open until 11pm.

Live Funnies

Crewe Central Comedy Club is live at Crewe Central this Friday (October 7).

Head down to Crewe Central and join our compare, Howard Anstock for a Friday night full of belly laughs.

Howard will be joined by three uniquely talented comedians on the UK comedy circuit, including; Dustin Moore, Ben Turner and our Headline comedian Clayton Jones.

Plus we will be joined by rising Crewe star Ciara Hicks-Evans.

With a line up as good as this, you can be sure of the biggest laughs and the best night out.

The event begins at 7pm. Tickets are just over £8 (including booking fee).
