Two people suffering from smoke inhalation were taken to hospital over the weekend, following an incident at a Crewe flat.
On Saturday 8 November, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Cornwall Grove, after a smoke alarm sounded.
At 3.46am, two fire engines from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering fumes coming from a flat kitchen.
Crewe firefighters used a high-pressure fan to clear the smoke, coming from an unattended pan on a hob.

The two people were treated by North West Ambulance service paramedics and taken to Leighton Hospital.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A high-pressure fan was used by firefighters after an unattended pan on a hob caused smoke in a flat.
"A smoke alarm sounded and two people suffered from smoke inhalation and were treated by paramedics."
