Two popular Crewe town centre businesses have joined forces to further boost trade - just a month after they met each other on the high street.

Truly Scrumtious has teamed up with Crafterama Corner to sell its printed products in its new sweet shop, slush bar and milkshake bar.

The Victoria Street businesses are both new to Crewe town centre - with Crafterama Corner opening in October 2021 and Truly Scrumtious opening in October 2022.

Crafterama Corner opened in October 2021 and Truly Scrumtious opened in October 2022 (Ryan Parker).

Truly Scrumtious is promoting Crafterama Corner's printing talents by selling its products alongside its sweets and treats.

100 per cent of the products sold will go directly back to Crafterama Corner's shop.

Join-owner of Truly Scrumtious, Darren O'Connor, is delighted with the new collaboration.

The 50-year-old told Nub News: "We have been using Crafterama for our stickers and uniform for some time.

"We soon realised that we both had similar wants and we can help each other in lots of ways.

"As well as this, we have become really good friends. This proves shopping locally not only helps keep local businesses afloat but also helps people to meet new friends."

Crafterama Corner sells personalised items such as printed t-shirts, mugs, jumpers and cushions.

The established Crewe town centre business is run by Jayne Tomlinson and Danni Mason.

Miss Tomlinson told Nub News: "We were super excited when Darren and Adel (joint-owner), suggested joining forces and showcasing products from each other's businesses.

"We've been collaborating behind the scenes with a few things for a while now with stickers and a few other bits.

"After throwing a few ideas around we decided it was time to join forces to take our brands forward.

"As we all know Crewe town centre is sadly lacking in shops, we believe it will be the independant traders that will bring it back to life.

"Hopefully people will see that our two businesses are trying to provide something a little out of the ordinary that not every high street offers."
