Two new bars have officially launched in Nantwich town centre, taking on the former Nakatcha nightclub site which closed last July.

Rumba and The Crazy Moose Ski Shack both launched on Welsh Row on Friday 21 February.

Operators, Life & Soul Group, who have similar venues in Congleton and Macclesfield, saw Nantwich as the next step in its expansion plans.

The Crazy Moose Ski Shack will be open from 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from Tuesday 4 March it will be open from 7pm every Tuesdaywith student deals and karaoke (The Crazy Moose Ski Shack).

Following a large renovation, the Grade-II listed building has been converted into the two separate bars, connected internally.

Rumba Nantwich told Nub News: "Rumba and The Crazy Moose Ski Shack have now both launched on Welsh Row in Nantwich following a successful opening weekend.

"Rumba has been serving up classic tiki cocktails in tropical surroundings, and The Crazy Moose Ski Shack has played host to some awesome karaoke stars, whilst offering Bavarian beers and cocktails in an authentic apres-ski party shack.

"However, there is more to come. On Friday 28 February, Rumba will be opening the kitchen in collaboration with the much-loved Reubens BBQ brand, offering smashed burgers, chicken tenders and wings, and low 'n' slow brisket.

"Following the kitchen opening, Rumba will be open from 5pm Wednesday to Friday, and 12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays. The famous Rumba Bottomless Brunch will be available every Saturday.

On Friday 28 February, Rumba Nantwich will open the kitchen in collaboration with Reubens BBQ (Rumba Nantwich).

"The Crazy Moose Ski Shack will be open from 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from Tuesday 4 March it will be open from 7pm every Tuesday with some great student deals and of course karaoke.
