Two Crewe pubs reopen under new management this February

Two Crewe pubs are reopening under new management this February, located on different sides of town.
The Hop Pole, Wistaston Road, and The Wolverton Arms (The Monkey), West Street, are both back in business following periods of closure.
Operating The Hop Pole is new landlord, Zac Sawyer, who reopened the venue on Monday 2 February.
Run by Punch Pubs, The Hop Pole boasts the largest beer garden in Crewe, which was formerly a bowling green.
Zac told Nub News: "Expect cold pints, good vibes, familiar faces, new faces and the start of getting The Hop Pole back to the lively boozer it should be.
"I want to get this pub its heartbeat back with the music and local love. Join us for an opening night on Saturday 7 February."

The Wolverton Arms is also reopening its doors at 1pm on Friday 6 February, operated by Becka Owens.
Known locally as 'The Monkey,' the free house is believed to have got its nickname from its first landlord owning a pet monkey.
Boasting a cosy beer garden to the rear, The Monkey is the last pub standing on West Street, following the closures of The Prince of Wales and The Brunel Arms, both in 2015.
Becka said: "The Monkey will be reopened on Friday 6 February at 1pm, everyone is welcome."
