Two Crewe men charged with burglary set to appear in Cheshire court today
Cheshire Constabulary has reveals the details of two men charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in Crewe.
Bradley Brookshaw, 20, of Badger Avenue, Crewe, and Stuart Western, 37, of Nevis Drive, Crewe were arrested and subsequently charged with aggravated burglary on Tuesday (September 13).
The pair were remanded in custody and are set appear at Chester Magistrates' Court today (15 September).
The charges of the two Crewe men follow an aggravated burglary which took place on Monday 5 (September 5), at an address on Rope Lane, Wistaston.
Following Tuesday's Detective Sergeant Richard Johnson said: "I hope that this morning's arrests provide reassurance to the local community, demonstrating that we are committed to doing all we can to tackle this type of crime.
"We have followed a number of extensive enquiries which has led to two local men being arrested, however this investigation remains very much ongoing.
"While our enquiries continue, I urge anyone who was in the area at the time and believes they may have witnessed the incident, or may have seen anything suspicious or unusual, to get in touch.
"The same goes for anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage that may be relevant to our investigation."
