A comedian dubbed 'The Godfather of Comedy,' whose CV ranges from Coronation Street, Phoenix Nights and Mrs Brown's Boys, is coming to Crewe.

Smug Roberts is the headline act as Crewe Central, behind Crewe Market Hall, hosts another night of comedy from Front Guy Gary Entertainment on Friday 3 November.

Doors open at 6:30pm, with food available to be ordered from Crewe Market Hall's array of traders.

His other acting credits also including Buried, Cold Feet and the films Looking For Eric and 24-Hour Party People.

Crewe Central comprising bar, The Kennel, and a performance space is Crewe Market Hall's latest expansion.

The opening act is comedy royalty, Tom King. After the first break in the middle section, Neil Elston will take to the stage.

Neil's warm comedic embrace will welcome you into a laughter-filled experience and his energetic and enthusiastic stage presence brings life to his storytelling style.

Also in the middle section is Annabelle Devey.

After her first sell-out split show for the Women In Comedy festival, Annabelle has stormed the Manchester circuit with her down to earth delivery, and nonchalant charisma.

And following the final break, Smug will finish off what should be another top night of entertainment.

MC for the night is quick-fire gag merchant, Ben Turner.
