A Crewe town centre cafe located inside a busy fitness centre is offering a special festive menu, which has been a massive it with customers.

Taste for Life is the on-site cafe for Crewe Lifestyle Lifestyle Centre, Forge Street, serving a variety of hot and cold beverages.

Throughout the festive season, Taste for Life has been offering special Christmas meals.

This includes Turkey baguettes, sandwiches, paninis and tastes, served with potatoes, side salad and coleslaw.

Catering assistant at Taste for Life, Laura, told Nub News: "We have been exploring a variety of delicious tastes with our traditional English Christmas menu.

"It is an impressive menu, which has been getting our customers in Crewe Lifestyle Centre feeling festive.

"We are serving Turkey sandwiches, baguettes, toasties and paninis, all with Christmas fillings.

Taste for Life is open 9am until 6pm (Monday to Friday) and 9am to 2pm (Saturday) and closed over Christmas and New Year (Ryan Parker).

"They are all selling really well, as are our festive hot chocolates.

"Its' fantastic to see our Christmas items being so popular, people have been coming back to have the, again too."

This week marked one year since Everybody Health and Leisure reopened Crewe Lifestyle Centre's first floor gym facility.

The reopening welcomed new state-of-the-art technology, techno-gym equipment, new gym additions and a full re-decoration.

Taste for Life is open 9am until 6pm (Monday to Friday) and 9am to 2pm (Saturday).

The cafe is closed from Friday 22 December until Tuesday 2 January.
