Taco Bell has confirmed the opening date for its first ever Crewe drive-thru restaurant.

The Tex-Mex chain will be launching on Phoenix Leisure Park, Dunwoody Way, at 12pm on Friday 19 January.

Work has been taking place at the site since the end of August.

A Taco Bell social media statement read: "We've got some news Crewe. Get ready for your new store.

Founded in 1962, Taco Bell serves a variety of Mexican-inspired food, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos (Taco Bell UK).

Taco Bell is set to replace Pizza Hut, which closed down on Phoenix Leisure Park in 2021.

A drive-thru has also been constructed along the Dunwoody Way side of the restaurant.

Despite receiving 24-hour approval, Taco Bell is open 12pm until 11pm, seven days per week.
