St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Crewe receive ‘Good’ Ofsted grade

A school in south west Crewe is celebrating after receiving their latest Ofsted inspection.
Staff and pupils at St. Mary's Catholic Primary School in Crewe are celebrating following a highly commendable judgement of 'Good' in all areas during its recent OFSTED inspection.
This achievement reflects the dedication, hard work and commitment of the entire school community in providing an exceptional educational experience for its pupils.
The OFSTED inspection conducted at the end of June 2023, assessed the school's performance across a range of key areas including quality of education, leadership and management and overall effectiveness. St. Mary's Catholic primary school received their report on their return to school this week, excelling in every category, highlighting its commitment to high expectations and holistic development.
Head Teacher Mrs Cathryn Wright expressed her pride and delight in the school's achievement, stating, "We are absolutely thrilled with the Good judgement in all areas by OFSTED. It is a testament to the amazing efforts of our staff and pupils."

Mrs Wright further acknowledged the hard work of the entire school community, saying, "Our success would not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of our incredible staff, who go above and beyond to inspire and support our children.

The OFSTED report highlighted numerous strengths of St. Mary's Catholic Primary School. It commended the behaviour of the children, the quality of teaching and the ambitious curriculum that meets the needs of pupils across the school.
The report also praised the school's commitment to the provision of education for those pupils with special educational needs, noting the nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Additionally, the report acknowledges the school's strong leadership, with Mrs Wright at the helm, providing clear direction and creating a culture of continuous improvement. The Governing Body was also commended for the strategic direction and effective partnership with the school leadership.
The entire school community takes great pride in this accomplishment, which reinforces their dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are well prepared for the future.
