Today (September 9), is the fifth annual world EV day, dedicated to raising awareness and further the movement towards electric vehicles worldwide. 

A quick look onto the streets of Crewe shows more and more drivers are making the electric switch, with over one million UK drivers now battery powered.

The past year has seen further advancements in the capabilities of electric vehicles which can now travel further than ever before. 

Local experts, Swansway Motor Group, are sharing three cheap EVs currently on the market in Crewe (Swansway).

Many major automotive players, such as Audi and Volkswagen, are moving towards all electric line ups so UK drivers must adapt with the times and embrace electric vehicles. 

One of the main objections drivers have to buying an EV is concern around range, however the average UK driver covers 117 miles a week which is well below the range of most electric vehicles currently on the market.
