Teams brave enough to take on the challenge will be starting their downhill descent on Ford Lane, before taking a sharp right hand turn bend onto Broad Street and zooming down past Brooklands.

Up to 20,000 people are expected to be in attendance cheering teams on as they cross the finish line (just before Badger Avenue).

Horrible Histories Rotten Royals is live at Crewe Lyceum Theatre on Sunday 14 July.

We all want to meet people from history. The trouble is everyone is dead.

Horrible Histories is back in 2024, with revolting rulers and mad monarchs from Britain's barmy past.

Would you be wooed by Richard the Lionheart? Are you ready for a date with King Edward I? Would you be shaken or stirred by Richard III?

See Mary Tudor knock the spots off Mary Queen of Scots. Can evil Elizabeth entertain England?

Will you be hanged by King James for being a witch? Clap along with crazy King Charles and move to the groove with party Queen Victoria.

Performances are at 1:30pm and 4:30pm. For tickets click HERE.
