The new 'busy' café open seven days a week at Crewe's main park

A new café at Crewe's main park is enjoying roaring trade, after taking over the previous eatery which closed down earlier this summer.

The health and fitness charity has signed a lease arrangement to take on the site until August 2025.

Taste For Life Café serves a breakfast menu, lunch menu, kids menu, cakes, ice cream and hot and cold drinks (Ryan Parker).

Formerly known as Park Life Café, the eatery had been closed since June, after parent firm, Deep Beat Entertainment Limited, entered administration.

Everybody Health & Leisure told Nub News it would like to take on the Queens Park site permanently next year.

Taste for Life has been the on-site café for Crewe Lifestyle Centre, since opening in 2016.

Team member at Taste For Life, Queens Park, Sonia, told Nub News: "We have been really busy since reopening as Taste For Life Café.

"We do a breakfast menu, lunch menu, cakes, hot and cold drinks and a kids menu, with all items popular.

Everybody Health & Leisure told Nub News it would like to take on the Queens Park site permanently next year (Ryan Parker).

"Breakfast is served between 9am and 11:30am. Our ice creams fly out. The kids love the slush.

"We are made up of a team of 10 and open seven days a week. We need the staff for the demand.

"There was a petition to try and keep the cafe at Queens Park open, everybody who came here signed it. The feedback from it was amazing.

"We have a number of community groups who all meet up here daily. This café is always full of social gatherings.

"Taste for Life looks after everyone. If you haven't tried us yet since the reopening, please come on down."

Taste for Life Café, Queens Park, is open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday (Ryan Parker).

Everybody confirmed to Nub News it has not taken on the contract for boat hire on Queens Park Lake. This is still up in the air.
