Owner and manager of United Carpets in Crewe, Eddie Davies, has been making sure his customers have the best choice of flooring when getting their homes looking great this autumn.

At a recent conference in Lincolnshire, Eddie met with around twenty suppliers, placing orders for new ranges that will be in the Nantwich Road store by the end of the month.

Eddie told Nub News: "This is historically a very busy time of the year.

United Carpets is open 9am to 6pm (Monday to Wednesday) 9am to 8pm (Thursday), 9am to 6pm (Friday and Saturday) and 10.30am to 4.30pm (Sunday) (Ryan Parker).

"Customers are beginning to think about Christmas (I know, don't mention it) and getting their home ready for visitors.

"We have already had fitting dates booked for November and December."

While trends in interiors are moving from grey neutrals to beige again, the new ranges Eddie has ordered include sumptuous soft Saxonys, hard wearing twists, and herringbone Berbers in both colourways.

He has also added to his stock of on-the-roll vinyls and pallets of laminate.

There is also, by appointment, a 'quiet hour' on Tuesday evenings, for customers who want to browse in a calmer environment, and without music and bright lights.
