Crewe curry lovers urged to try restaurant's mouth-watering Indian specials
By Ryan Parker 27th Aug 2026
Crewe curry lovers are being invited to discover two rich and authentic South Indian beef curries at The Royal Saffron on Earle Street.
Based at the former Crown Hotel, Royal Saffron specialises in regional Indian dishes inspired by coastal cooking, Mughlai cuisine and traditional Kerala recipes.
Its latest dishes put premium Aberdeen Angus beef at the heart of the menu, with the meat slow-cooked until it is melt-in-the-mouth tender and succulent.
The Kerala Beef Curry is a traditional South Indian favourite, combining tender, succulent beef with freshly roasted coconut, cracked black pepper and fragrant curry leaves.
The result is a rich and aromatic curry packed with warmth, spice and the distinctive flavours of Kerala.

Also on the menu is Kadai Beef, featuring succulent pieces of Aberdeen Angus beef slow-cooked with fresh ginger, crushed garlic, juicy tomatoes and colourful bell peppers.
The beef is cooked alongside a special blend of whole spices, creating a deeply savoury curry with a satisfying kick.
Royal Saffron's Michelin-trained chefs use traditional cooking techniques and carefully selected ingredients to bring regional Indian flavours to diners in Crewe.
Whether enjoyed as a relaxed meal with family and friends or ordered as a weekend takeaway, the two dishes offer curry lovers the chance to try something a little different.
For reservations and takeaway orders, call 01270 297715 or visit www.theroyalsaffron.com to browse the menu and order online.
The Royal Saffron is open from 12pm to 2.30pm and 5pm to 9.30pm on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and from 12pm to 2.30pm and 5pm to 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
