Crewe UTC will open its doors to prospective Year 10 and Year 12 students and their families on Thursday 20 November, from 5pm to 7pm, offering an exclusive opportunity to explore its newly upgraded workshop facilities.
The event marks a major milestone for the technical college following the completion of a £350,000 refurbishment funded by the Department for Education.
The investment supports Crewe UTC's continued growth and its mission to deliver world-class technical education for students aged 14 to 19.
The newly refurbished workshop provides students with hands-on experience using industry-standard machinery and equipment.

This upgrade includes new manufacturing tools and a Formula One in Schools track, giving learners the chance to take part in high-level STEM challenges that develop their skills in design, engineering and teamwork.
These new facilities reflect Crewe UTC's commitment to ensuring students gain practical, industry-relevant experience alongside academic study—preparing them for careers in engineering, manufacturing, and technology.
Crewe UTC continues to work closely with leading employers such as Bentley Motors, Network Rail and Alstom, embedding industry engagement throughout its curriculum.
Students benefit from working on real-world projects and learning directly from engineers and specialists within these organisations.
Principal, Will Chitty, told Nub News: "Courses at the UTC represent a unique opportunity for students about to start year 10 and year 12 to experience an industry standard technical curriculum.
"Our promise to students is that you will graduate Industry Ready and we are looking forward to welcoming guests for the first time since our new workshop facilities have been completed.
"Visitors will be able to tour the entire college, speak to lecturers and students, and get some hands-on experience with specialist equipment."
The open evening will allow visitors to explore the college, meet staff and students, and see demonstrations of the new equipment in use.
It also offers an opportunity to learn more about the curriculum, including the college's engineering-focused sixth form and T Level courses delivered in its upgraded facilities.
Spaces for the open evening are limited and booking in advance is encouraged. To reserve a place, visit HERE.
Crewe UTC's investment in its facilities and its strong employer partnerships continue to strengthen its reputation as a leading destination for young people aspiring to become "Industry Ready" in the region's growing technical and engineering sectors.
