Crewe UTC has been recognised among the UK's most improved schools for attendance, as demand for places continues to grow.
Crewe Engineering and Design UTC, West Street, has received an FFT National Attendance Award, recognising it as one of the top 10 per cent of most improved UK schools for Key Stage 4 (KS4) attendance over the last academic year.
The award recognises improvements in attendance among secondary school pupils, typically aged 14 to 16.
Crewe UTC said the achievement reflected the work of its students, families and staff in building a positive culture where young people want to attend and succeed.
The school also praised its pastoral team for supporting pupils to make meaningful improvements to their attendance.
In a statement, Crewe UTC said: "This achievement reflects the hard work of our students, families and staff in building a positive culture where young people want to attend and succeed.
"A special thank you to our pastoral team for their relentless support in helping students make meaningful improvements to their attendance."
With demand continuing to grow, college leaders are encouraging prospective students and families to find out more at the next Open Evening, taking place on Thursday 26 November from 5pm to 7pm.
Crewe UTC specialises in engineering and design, offering students technical education alongside their academic studies.
Prospective students and their families can book a place at open evening via the UTC website HERE.
