Crewe engineering students get up close with Bentley in 'spurring' experience
By Ryan Parker 13th Feb 2026
Crewe Engineering & Design UTC students had an extraordinary opportunity to engage directly with Bentley Motors, as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2026.
Bentley representatives visited the UTC to showcase their Apprenticeship Programme, launching in September 2026, offering roles from Level 3 to Level 6.
Students received first-hand advice on applications, gained insights into the wide range of career paths available, and explored what it takes to build a future with a world-leading luxury automotive brand.
The visit reached its pinnacle when Bentley brought along a Flying Spur for students to explore.
This hands-on experience allowed learners to connect their classroom studies with real-world engineering, manufacturing, and design in a way that left a lasting impression.
A Crewe UTC spokesperson said: "A huge thank you to Bentley for inspiring our learners and supporting their next steps into engineering, manufacturing and design."
