YMCA Cheshire is hosting a Mexican Special Soiree at its Gresty Road site on Friday 1 May.

Running from 6pm to 9pm, enjoy a vibrant selection of traditional Mexican favourites, including a fajita and taco station with shredded spiced beef, pork and chicken, alongside beef and bean quesadillas, coriander and lime rice, refried beans, a variety of salsas, and a fresh corn salad.

Dessert is churros served with chocolate and salted caramel dipping sauces. Vegetarian options are available.

By joining YMCA, will be helping to create real opportunities for young people.

Friday - Son of Shinobi + Red Spector + Glass Atlas @ The Arena

On Friday 1 May The Arena welcomes Son of Shinobi for a night of unrelenting energy and heavy rock mastery.

Drawing comparisons to the giants of the genre while carving out their own gritty, melodic path, the band is set to deliver a setlist that "Dave Grohl himself would be proud of."

With support acts Red Spektor and Glass Atlas, this is a full-throttle showcase of the UK's thriving rock scene.

The popular event is back with a new date of every first Saturday of the month.

Join us this Saturday and enjoy community with the Royal British Legion, face painting by Facepainting Pixie and live music by Jack Hamilton.

Running from 10am to 4pm, Crewe Makers Market takes place on Vctoria Street and Market Street.

There will be wide variety of street food, including Chefsey Africana and Street Ltd, as well as dozens of local makers offering handmade gifts, artisan products, and sweet treats.

The event remains dog-friendly and family-friendly, offering something for everyone, whether you're shopping, eating, or simply enjoying a lively day in the town centre.
