The new Crewe town centre businesses opened so far in 2025

Lots of new businesses have opened in Crewe town centre in 2025, with Nub News compiling a list of them all.
Crewe town centre has been hit with lots of shop closures in recent times, including Select Fashion and Jordy's Pizza this year.
Things are looking up however, with the ROHS 'Open in Crewe' grant scheme offering capital grants of up to £30,000* (subject to meeting eligibility criteria) for businesses taking on leases at vacant town premises.
So far, the grant scheme, funded by the UK Government Towns Fund, has allowed a variety of businesses to open their doors in Crewe town centre.
Crewe's new bus station opened in May 2024, with the multi-storey car park opening that July.
A new public space with a short stay car park opened at the former library and Civic Centre Car Park site in April with the new Southern Gateway Scheme set to be completed this summer.
A number of businesses have launched in Crewe town centre in 2025. They are:
J&N Boutique - Queensway - March 13

J&N Boutique, Queensway, launched on Thursday 13 March, operated by Jozef Kondas, from Slovakia, who lives in Crewe.
Named after Jozef's two sons, Joseph, 10, and Nicolas, five, J&N Boutique opened less than seven months after J&N Jewellery launched in the town.
Selling just women's turkish clothing for now, J&N aims to offer men's and children's items in the future.
J&N Boutique is open 9am to 5pm (Monday to Saturday).
Mistermallow - Crewe Market Hall - March 13

Mistermallow opened up inside Crewe Market Hall on Thursday 13 March, located next door to Bailey's Wine Bar & Deli.
Operated by Emma Cavender and Martha Wrotniak, Mistermallow sells homemade marshmallows, fudge, pick and mix sweets and Polish cakes (served with fresh fruit).
The Market Hall trader has recently launched its 'marshmallow ice' frozen dessert, along with a range of new desserts.
Mistermallow is open 11am to 8pm (Thursday to Sunday). It is located in one half of the former Cheese Corner unit.
Bailey's Wine Bar & Deli - Crewe Market Hall - April 2

Oliver Bailey, who managed The Cheese Corner, Crewe Market Hall, until 2 March, reopened the similar Bailey's Wine Bar & Deli on Wednesday 2 April.
Serving toasties grazing boards, cheese and wines and deli meats, the trader has enhanced its offering compared to last time.
To start with, Oliver has been running the business himself. He has already secured previous members of staff, Hazel and Lucas, to work over busy periods and events.
Bailey's Wine Bar & Deli is open Wednesday to Sunday for the current time.
Mystery Quest Escape Rooms & Entertainment Venues - Lyceum Square - April 12
Mystery Quest Escape Rooms and Entertainment Venues launched inside Crewe Central, Lyceum Square on Saturday 12 April.
Operated by Chris Gillies and his partner Amber, Mystery Quest initially opened with two escape rooms, 'Hillbilly Living' and 'Antidote.'
A two-lane axe throwing game is set to open this summer, with more escape rooms to open at a later date.
Mystery Quest is open in Crewe every Wednesday to Sunday, with it open during afternoons/evenings in the week and all day at the weekend.
Cheer & Chug - Victoria Centre - April 18

Cheer & Chug Sports Lounge, Victoria Centre, launched on Friday 18 April following a huge three-week project renovating the former Ye Olde Angel pub.
Run by two Crewe locals, Cheer & Chug offers seven large TV screens, interactive darts, supreme pool tables, shuffleboard tables, a VIP area and jukebox.
The venue's kitchen, 'Cheer and Chug Grub,' serves breakfasts, burgers, pizzas, chicken wings, belly pork bites, loaded fries, sharing platters Sunday roasts, Yorkshire pudding wraps and more.
Cheer and Chug is open 11am to 11pm, seven days a week. The venue has a licence from 10am to 2am which will be used for special events.
Kawaii Boba Tea - Earle Street - May 3

Kawaii Boba Tea relocated into a unit of its own at 7 Earle Street on Saturday 3 May.
In its bigger unit, Kawaii Boba Tea offers customers a new karaoke booth experience, bubble and lollipop waffles and an extended range of Asian groceries, as well as frozen items.
Kawaii Boba Tea also sells Korean ice cups, 'eat-in' cup Ramens and a variety of toppings to choose from, including kimchi, cheese and more.
The Crewe town centre business is open 11am to 7pm (Monday to Thursday), 11am to 7.30pm (Friday and Saturday) and 12pm to 5pm (Sunday).
Oriental Daily Meal - The Market Shopping Centre - May 10

Oriental Daily Meal officially opened in The Market Shopping Centre on Saturday 10 May.
Run by husband and wife, Bryan and Polly, from Hong Kong, who reside in Warrington, Oriental Daily Meal serves a variety of authentic Asian groceries, as well as chilled and frozen produce.
The new Crewe shop's produce includes Japanese, Thai, Korean, Chinese and Hong Kong items.
Oriental Daily Meal is open 11am to 5pm (Monday to Saturday) and 11am to 3pm (Sunday and bank holidays).
