Section of major Crewe East road to close for five days
A section of major road in Crewe East is set to close for five days this February, allowing Scottish Power maintenance works to take place.
Hungerford Road, from Hungerford Road Roundabout to the junction of School Cresent, closes on Monday 17 February.
The road is expected to reopen again by the end of Friday 21 February.
The alternative route will be via: Manchester Bridge, Hungerford Road Roundabout, Macon Way, Nantwich Road Roundabout, Crewe Road, Crewe Green Road Roundabout, Crewe Green Road and Crewe Road Roundabout.
Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times.
Cyclists will be required to dismount in order for access to be maintained.
Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
