Shrek to support cancer charity with Crewe musical performances
Animated film legend Shrek is to raise money for a cancer charity in Crewe this week.
Shrek The Musical takes to the stage at Crewe Lyceum from Wednesday October 12 to Sunday October 16.
Performance start times are at 7:30pm daily, plus extra matinee shows at the weekend for 2:30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The musical based off the classic Dreamworks animated series was first performed on Broadway in New York, meaning this is quite the coup for Crewe.
The production will also give money to Cancer Research UK, though it is not specific in how much of the ticket price goes towards the national cancer charity.

Tickets cost £26, or £100 for a family of four.
The musical adaptation of the 2001 family film and 1990 book of the same name, was first performed in New York in 2013.
