Seven-year-old girl taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Crewe

A seven-year-old girl was hit by car on Tuesday evening in Crewe.

At around 6:35pm on Tuesday (18 August), police were called to West Street, Crewe, following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

Officers attended the scene and discovered that the car was a red Renault Clio and the pedestrian was a seven-year-old girl from Crewe.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "The girl sustained injuries as a result of the collision. After being assessed by paramedics, she was taken to hospital in an ambulance and her injuries are not believed to be serious.

"Officers spoke to the driver of the Clio at the scene and no arrests have been made. Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing."
