A missing man, last seen leaving Leighton Hospital in Crewe on December 19, has been found safe and well, 46 days later.

The missing 67-year-old, last seen at the Crewe hospital at 7.12am that morning, was located by Greater Manchester Police in Stockport on Tuesday 3 February.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Colleagues from Greater Manchester Police called on Tuesday 3 February to inform us he had been located in Stockport.

"The man, missing since December 19, was found safe and well."

Yes quite agree Steve,I have just backtracked on the story and cannot find the original report on this.
Apparently the gentleman was found in Stockport.
At least all's well that ends well.👍

given that PCornes first comment appear to be 2 weeks before this story can we assume that this is an update where the original bit was accidentally deleted? Which is why it doesn't make a lot of sense - starting with why Cheshire Police thought he was missing?
