Four vehicles were involved in a crash on main bypass between Crewe and Sandbach yesterday afternoon (May 29), with Cheshire Police closing the road for several hours.

Cheshire Police swiftly closed off the road to deal with the collision, involving four vehicles.

No one sustained serious injuries, with everyone involved expected to make a fully recovery.

Officers have confirmed no arrests were made in the incident, with the collision coming just three weeks after a man was hospitalised on the same stretch of road.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 4.48pm on Thursday 29 May, police were called to reports of a collision on the A534 Haslington Bypass.

"The collision involved four vehicles.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries."
