Road closes following collision incident on edge of Crewe town centre

A busy road on the edge of Crewe town centre was temporarily closed, following a collision between two vehicles.

On Thursday 17 October, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on West Street, close to the junction with The Market Shopping Centre.

On arrival, officers discovered two vehicles had collided with one another, closing off a section of West Street while the incident was dealt with.

No one was injured in the collision, with no arrests made. Both vehicles sustained damage.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 12.18pm on Thursday 17 October, police were called to reports of a collision on West Street.

"The collision involved two vehicles. 

"There were no reports of any injuries."
