Prisoner charged following attempted burglaries in Crewe and Nantwich

A man currently in prison has now been charged in relation to a number of attempted burglaries in the Crewe and Nantwich area.

Steven Hilditch, of HMP Hindley, has been charged with five counts of attempted burglary of a dwelling, one count of attempted burglary other than a dwelling, six counts of vehicle interference and one count of theft of a pedal cycle.

The 34-year-old will appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 20 November.

The charges relate to reports of incidents in the Crewe and Nantwich areas throughout June 2025.
