First of its kind Crewe eatery celebrates one year in business
Crewe's first ever bagel eatery has celebrated one year in business - receiving very favourable reviews since it launched.
The Holy Bun, Ruskin Road, achieved the landmark on Thursday (January 19) - thanking its customers for the support.
Owned by Miss Magda Martin, 30, and her mum, Mrs Jola Sobolewska, 49, the bagel shop has been a booming success over the past 12 months.
In January 2022, The Holy Bun became Crewe's first ever bagel shop - selling freshly-baked bagels with a variety of fillings.
So far, the business has received very favourable reviews - achieving a score of 4.9/5 on Facebook and 4.7/5 on Google.
Last week, The Holy Bun announced its one-year anniversary on social media - offering a bagel-shaped birthday cake to customers.
A statement read: "We cannot believe it's been a year since we opened The Holy Bun doors and sold our first bagel.
"The support of all of you in the past year has been incredible, and we cannot thank you all enough.
The Holy Bun also serves homemade soups, skin on fries, loaded fries and loaded salad options.
It recently added vegan chilli loaded fries to the menu - going together with the vegan portobello mushroom bagel.
The bagel shop will be adding new items to its menu later this year.
The Holy Bun is open from 8:00am to 3:30pm (Monday to Wednesday) and 8:00am to 4:00pm (Thursday to Saturday).
