Crewe corner shop site to go up for auction at almost £100k

A popular Crewe corner shop site which continues to trade successfully will go up for auction this spring, at a guide price close to £100k.
2 Middlewich Street, occupied by Taz's off-licence, with a self-contained flat on the first floor, is being listed at £98,000 by Auction Hammer Midlands.
The Crewe building is set to go up for auction on Tuesday 14 April, with bidding available via online, telephone and proxy.
Taz's remains on a 10-year lease at £500 per calendar month, running until 15 April 2034.
Auction Hammer Homes say: "Live stream auction on 14 April with a 6.30pm start. Bidding will be available by either online bidding, telephone or proxy.
"If you wish to bid, please register online via the Auction Hammer website using the 'Register to Bid' tab.

"This is a two-storey end-of-terrace building occupied as a retail shop (Taz's Middlewich Street off-license) on the ground floor with a self-contained flat on the first floor.
"The customer occupies the flat and the shop is let. The shop is let for £500 per calendar month on a 10 year lease from 15 April 2024.
"Middlewich Street in Crewe is a busy, centrally located road featuring a mix of traditional residential terraced housing, local amenities, and commercial properties.
"It is within walking distance of the town centre, Grand Junction Retail Park, and Crewe Market Hall.
"Nearby supermarkets are Morrisons located off Dunwoody Way and Asda located off West Street. Crewe Railway Station is approximately 1.8 miles away."
